[Video included] Instead of dragging all your emails to the Fetch Inbox, you can set email rules so that they move themselves automatically.
You won’t be able to do this for all emails, but should be able to do it for most of them. You can do it as you receive emails, you don’t have to set them up all at once.
The following video is from Microsoft and shows you how to set up rules.
You only need to watch the first 50 seconds or so. The rest of it is not related to moving emails.
We suggest you just try one or two and make sure you are happy with how they work before you start setting rules for all your suppliers.
When you set up rules, make sure you use the email subject to set the rule – and that this subject line will only be used when the supplier is sending invoices.
Remove anything that won’t be in other email subject lines. For example if the subject of the email is “Invoice 12345” – remove the “12345” and just keep the word Invoice.
If you have any problems or need some help, all you need to do is ask – support@focus.net.nz
