Sending a Screenshot

You should have the Windows Snipping Tool available on your PC. To find it, click the Windows Icon at the bottom Left of your screen and start typing “Snipping tool”.

Open the Snipping Tool and select “New”

Drag your mouse to select the part of the screen you want to capture. Press the Copy icon and you will be able to paste this into an email to us.

Capturing a pop up menu

If you are trying to capture a pop up menu, you might find that when you press “New” in the Snipping Tool that the menu disappears.

You can use the Delay feature in the Snipping Tool to capture this.

For instructions, refer to this article: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/windows-10-snipping-tool-delay-capture-pop-up-menus/

If you do not see a Delay option, you may need to have your Snipping Tool upgraded. Please contact your IT provider if you need help with this.
